CORINNA NDOLO M.ED, BCBA-LBA
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER AND FOUNDER
Corinna holds a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and a Master’s degree in Low Incidence Special Education from Northern Arizona University, where she also completed her post-graduate ABA coursework. She has a graduate certificate in Positive Behavior Support and has worked with children with autism since 2001. After several years of teaching children with autism, Corinna decided to pursue her dream of opening a non-profit day school. For years, Corinna saw a need in the community for a program that would meet the complex needs of students with autism, while giving them the skills they need to be independent, in a traditional school environment. Three years later, St. Dominic Savio Academy was born. When not at school, she enjoys travel, reading, and spending time with her husband and daughters.
SARAH BOYD, M.S., BCBA-LBA
DIRECTOR OF NEXT STEP SOUTHWEST
Sarah is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Arizona State University. She started at Next Step in 2019 as a therapist, fell in love with this work and the children we serve, and returned to school to become a BCBA.
Sarah has embodied our organization’s core values since day one. After graduating from ASU’s Special Education master’s program, she served as our Clinical Coordinator before being promoted to Clinical Director. Sarah is honored to serve the families in Next Step and is passionate about loving and leading each child to a happy and fulfilling life.
ROSE VETSCH ODHIAMBO, MA, BCBA-LBA
DIRECTOR OF BEHAVIOR SERVICES AT ST. DOMINIC SAVIO ACADEMY
Hello! My name is Rose. I am the Director of Behavior Services – I oversee a caseload of kids in our Academy program, as well as other behavior analysts and therapists, and all staff training. I have recently been diving into some oversight in our Next Step Program. I also lead the parent breakfasts that we host on campus. I have been in the field for 20 years. I started years back as a habitation/respite provider doing in-home therapy. Then I worked in another non-profit school for children with autism here in AZ. I moved to Iowa and worked both in-home and helped start an intensive clinical ABA program in Des Moines where I also became board certified as an assistant behavior analyst. After 4 years in Iowa, I took a giant leap and moved to East Africa in 2012. We returned to the US in 2015 and I joined the team here at SDSA. In 2018 I returned to school and completed my Master’s degree in Special Education and ABA, finishing my BCBA credential at that time. I have two children who are the absolute joys of my life! I absolutely love the work we do here and count it a privilege to love and lead our learners (the staff and kids alike).
KIERSTEN COOK, RBT
CLINICAL COORDINATOR
Kiersten has worked at Next Step for over four years. She started as an RBT and became a lead therapist a few years later, helping train new and seasoned therapists. In 2023, she was promoted to Clinical Coordinator, supporting the clinic in several areas, including scheduling sessions, handling the intake process for new families, and assisting the behavior analysts in creating new trainings for our therapists. She loves her time in sessions, helping our clients achieve their goals!
MICHELLE HILL
DIRECTOR OF INCLUSIVE PRESCHOOL
Michelle has been providing early childhood education for 22 years. She has over 100 hours of training classes in early childhood education and will graduate with her associate’s degree in early childhood education in May 2024. Michelle ran an in-home licensed childcare before relocating to Arizona in 2021 for her husband’s job. She started with St. Dominic Savio Academy as the Toddler teacher in May 2021, then became the Lead Preschool Teacher in September 2022 before being promoted to the Director of Childcare in Preschool in January 2023. Michelle is passionate about providing a loving, nurturing environment where children feel free to be themselves, explore, and learn. She is loved by all the children in our childcare and preschool, along with their parents, and provides an exceptional experience for all.
